Zeus software bolsters Netcetera’s web hosting services
Netcetera partners with Zeus to provide a scalable, enterprise-class traffic management solution to its customers

Netcetera, one of Europe’s leading managed hosting and data center providers, is working with Zeus Technology, the only software-based application traffic management company, to offer a dedicated, enterprise-class application traffic management and acceleration solution to its customers.
By joining the Zeus Service Provider License Agreement (SPLA) program, Netcetera can now lease the Zeus load balancer software (ZXTM LB), which will become an essential part of its on-demand service portfolio. As part of the rental agreement, the offering is based on a non-perpetual, monthly, subscription model, which allows customers to pay purely for what they use each month. Customers will also have access to additional traffic management features that are simply not available from hardware products.
Tim Cass, Netcetera's CTO, comments: “Joining the Zeus SPLA program has a number of key advantages for us. By offering a pure-software application traffic management solution, there are no upfront costs and the software has the capacity to scale on-demand very quickly. This ensures our customers online services remain fast and available at all times, with the benefit of pay-as-you-go monthly billing.

In addition, after completing some competitor research, Zeus undoubtedly offers a superior yet cost-effective, easy-to-manage software solution. ZXTM LB provides load balancing and resilience to customers’ services, with high-performance Secure Socket Layer (SSL) and content compression, content-aware traffic management rules and flexible health monitoring. In addition, the Zeus software can be migrated across any hardware platform and can be deployed in any Physical, Virtual or Cloud environment.
